how do you put calendar on lock screen?

I was looking thru the "show us your lock screen" thread and see that some people have a calendar on their lock screen.
How do i do this? I'm new to iPhone, always used Android.

correct me if i am wrong but you can only do it on a jailbroken device

If jailbroken: any number of apps/tweaks/themes will do this. (Lockinfo, Bulletin, Intelliscreenx, etc)

If not: you can make a wallpaper with a screenshot of your monthly calendar, but you can't interact with it. If you wait for iOS 7, that will bring the Notification Center to the lock screen. Otherwise it isn't allowed right now.

Thanks for the info. Not sure about jail breaking my phone, yet. Will run stock for a while

It is possible to simply use a calendar "wallpaper" on your lock screen in order to get the same effect (if the calendar is the only function you were trying to achieve).

I probably will jail break the phone eventually, but their is no 6.1.4 JB yet?

No jail break for that version...I think devs are working on ios7 atm!
I do like using Bulletin for access to features like calendar, weather, apps from lockscreen.
