Notifications repeating themselves constantly

Hi, had this problem lately that my notifications would be repeated twice. Thought it was a one off and that's all.

Until today where i've been receiving the same notifications for the last hour or so!

Any light on this, or am I going to have to restore & hope that fixes it?

What type of notifications are they? Email, twitter, iMessage?

Turn off notification center and do a reboot (hold both power and home buttons down until you see the Apple logo, then release both buttons)... then turn notifications back on.
