Default Mazda Bluetooth and iPhone 5

Hey all I was wondering if anyone else here on the forums has a Mazda 3 or Mazda with Bluetooth. I ask because I looked up a question in regards to the MAP profile for reading back texts and saw a screenshot from his bluetooth settings that looked different from a forum member from a another iPhone forum. Here is the screenshot from I what I get when I click on the blue arrow for more options.

So as you can see there is nothing there and here is the screenshot from the forum I found.

Now is it just a simple issue of the Mazda Bluetooth sucking or is there a way to enable this?

I think it is a case of the Mazda not having the capabilities to incorporate the other stuff, but I could be wrong....

Looks like you probably have an older version of the car than the other guy.

I have a pontiac and it has bluetooth for my phone. I cannot (by default) wirelessly play music on my cars stereo with it though. My car can store contacts but cannot access my phones address book. It is just for calls. If i activate siri from my phone, it goes through my car and i can then use siri to call a contact in my phones address book, or use it for anything else siri can do. Theres a tweak i found to force music to play via a headset (aka car) but its only good for spoken word and not music. I think it only plays through the drivers side speakers. I still have aux and usb so its all good.

Yeah I use Siri through my car as well it's just my car manual says it can do these things but yet it can't so I'm dumbfounded and sad LOL.

Your car manual will state all the available options for that car. That is to say, that your car may not have all the features listed in the manual. They usually have a title saying "For X model..." then state its features.

I realize that but it doesn't have that in the manual.
