Backlight Bleed

I'm noticing some backlight bleed on the bottom of my screen. I'm trying not to be too picky. Is some backlight bleeding considered normal?

I don't know about it being 'normal', however, I'm inclined to think that it goes unnoticed more than noticed. Anyway, if it is bothersome to you, take it to a nearby Apple Store and try to get it exchanged.

#1 rule. if there is a issue. take it to Apple first.

I agree if it bothers you try returning it to Apple.

However if you do plan to take it to Apple, even though they wouldn't give a bad piece, just check the phone thoroughly before going home.
Bothersome or not, if there's an issue, take it to Apple.

Here's an extreme case that to me, honestly, looks like someone who took apart the phone and didn't put it back together properly...

...and heres a more subtle example that i think i would point towards a defect in the phone from the factory (in that specific case, not across the board)...

Wow that's awful. I've exchanged phones twice because of bleeds like this, and the one I have now still has some bleed. Got tired of arguing with the Genius Bar, so sticking with it for now.

I had bleed on my iPad 2 after 3 months took it back to Apple argued that it was a premium product with $750 and shouldn't be like that and it was replaced.

My phone is definitely not this bad. If I get a chance, I'll snap some pics and share. Maybe I'm being too picky.
