brightness bug?

I experienced my first bug on my iphone 5

I read something about this but just started to happen to me it seems to crop up when I'm either in the facebook app or just homed it out

I feel it could be linked somehow to the new FB update...

I keep my brightness at roughly three quarters and sometimes it goes to full brightness others it drops to a quarter
