    Default VZW iphone 5 carrier settings update?

    So i was using my iphone and unlocked it and it said the carrier settings have been updated. Anyone else have this? Or know what it does? My carrier now says verizon 14.1 where as after the 6.1 update it was verizon 14.0

    My VZW iPhone4S is still at carrier settings v. 14.0 - - Carrier Settings are something like a hosts file... or Windows Registry... background settings for carrier proprietary services.

    Yeah I wasn't sure if there was some issue for it to be updated. I remembered they did it with the wifi data bug so figured there would be something somewhere showing what/why it got changed.

    I got the update too. It just happens sometimes

    Mine did the same when it was I updated it also. But it only did that when I went to the settings app.
