I see that based on the Apple site, Apple - iPhone 5 - View countries with supported LTE networks., it seems like the US version (AT&T) can just do LTE in US and Canada, while the VZW and Sprint version can LTE for the rest of the world.
Is this true? That's kinda sucks if my assessment is correct. Then why should I buy an iPhone 5 if I can not use LTE outside North America region (assuming the phone is unlocked and you are using the local SIM card)? I understand the HSDPA+ and below can be used by iPhone 5.
Thanks.
