With a software update, will iPhone 5 ever possibly do 16:9 photos?

I don't believe so. Photo lenses are generally oriented 4:3. I'm pretty sure the lens in the iPhone is this way, too.

Actually, photos are oriented in 6:4 (or 3:2 however you want to approach it) ratio typically...just to put it out there.

Yeah. You're right. I knew it wasn't 16:9. I don't see Apple changing their lenses to something so uncommon. I think they'll keep it at the standard ratio for photography.
