Finally after getting an iPhone 5 today, I can post in this forum with confidence

It is a shame the Speck case doesn't work with the adapter for the old USB cables.

I like android myself but using it as a daily driver got on my nerves. I still like using a android phone don't get me wrong to play with I just like the simplicity of iOS.

Well I was using my iPhone 4S and my S3 at the same time.

But for 2013 I've decided to only use one OS and thus one device. Lets see if I can do it.

Now to try cases. I have the Speck one currently. But it can't handle the lightning cable adapter.

Maybe time to look for a barely there case. Or even an Otterbox for solid protection.

Wow, I'm (a little) surprised to hear that about the speck cases because when I do finally get my 5 or 5S I will be utilizing the adapters because I have quite a few 30 pins. But, thanks for putting that out there so I know too!

for the 5/5S i do plan on using a case for it as well, most likely a speck cs.

As for the OB I'm guessing your referring to the defender (?) I was out at the mall the other day and saw someone with one on their 5 and it did look nice, not as bulky and awkward as the defender for the 4s.

I've got the zoogue case and really like it check it out! Also belkins are nice also. Just a bit pricey. Zoogue's are inexpensive and they have great customer service.

I bought a Speck case. But after watching a few video reviews of the latest Otterbox Defender, I'll get one. I've always liked Otterbox.

I love my speck cases, though this time I restrained myself to just a candyshell. I also have 2 knockoff bumpers, an incipio frequency case and a cygnett snapon case imore was kind enough to give me.

I've tried a defender series and it was way too bulky. Also it was harder to type because it had to much play between screens.

I highly recommend zoogue cases. They are inexpensive, have a great feel, and very slim profile. I'm very impressed with these cases. Quality is beyond what I expected. I ordered many different colors. I like it how easy it is to take on and off. It also doesn't scratch phone. Fits on nice and tuck on the 5. I caught the special they had last month for .99 cents per case

Same here! I've tried many cases(belkin,speck,otterbox defender and commuter,) to name a few and nothing beats the zoogue! Highly recommend!

If you call up OB they will tell you the play in the defender for the 5 is a known issue. Claim they are working on it so i reckon we shall see.
