I think its a very commonly asked question here. So im sorry to ask again. I have just purchased a iphone 5. I currently own a 4s

Now my 4s is jailbroken. I have actually purchased a few apps from the App Store. As well as have a few apps downloaded from installous. I also have all my contacts , mail , photos , apps and what not

I want all my data which is on my 4s to go to 5. I have heard of 2 methods. One is either backup everything to icloud so when im setting up iphone 5 i just say restore from icloud. Or do a backup from itunes and when setting up new iphone 5 say 'restore from backup'

Now if i do any of these 2 options will everything be backed up (apps purchased , cydia apps , photos, contacts, mail , etc) ? And when i go to restore will everything come as is on iphone 5?. But then what happens to the cydia apps during the backup process. I dont want cydia stuff on iphone 5 as currently there is no untherered jailbreak for it

Thanks friends:)

Cydia apps are not backed up as those aren't stock everything else will be though as long as its on in the iCloud settings. Once you get you shiny new IP5 just sign in, choose restore from iCloud and voila everything will start downloading. Enjoy your new 5!

They will be part of the backup. Anything jailbreak will not. your purchase history will be saved so you can re-download once jailbreak is released. No eta
