Hi I recently bought a Verizon iPhone 5 32gb and when I tap the back side of the phone it makes a rattle sound. With my research I've found that chances are this is the camera lens. It may be the battery or the vibrate motor but it only rattles when I tap the side with the camera. It's fine with me but I just to make sure that it's ok and I won't have to get a new iPhone. Any help?

This has already been posted numerous times. It's not the camera, it's your power button. I have the same issue but it really isn't all that bothersome to me.

Oh sorry didn't have that much time to glance around, but what I really want to know is it something that if I don't get it fixed the phone will mess up. Like can I use the phone like this?

As long at the rattle doesn't bother you I don't think you would have any other problems.. The vibrate/ring switch was loose and rattled a bit on my 4S and I never took it in, it was still usable and didn't cause any other problems.

Just don't tap it. My year old 4s does the same thing and works like a champ.

That's what everyone tells me but it's just one of those things that get to me like a piece of lint or air bubble in my screen protector haha.

Take it apart and spray sound deadening material on everything...should fix it.
