10:00PM Apple Store Orders. Am I Allset?

Jumped on Apple's site at 9:52, kept refreshing local stores as it got closer to 10. A store 30 miles away showed so so I set up in store pick-up there. Confirmation sausage they are preparing items for pick-up and will e-mail as soon as they are ready? Haven't done this before. Does this mean I should plan on taking a drive there tomorrow?

And yes - you should have an email waiting for you in the morning telling you to pick up your order before 6 pm.

I returned my 16 gig iPhone around 2pm yesterday and found a 32 gig at 10 tonight. Pretty good (lucky).

are you going to lose your discount or did you just pay full price?

When I returned my 5, they backed out the discount that was used on that so it can be applied to the 32gig. I didn't know that it could be done. Read something online then checked my receipt before calling Apple and AT&T. They advised me on how to do it. Return the 16GB (buyer's remose), have them back out the discount, activate my old iPhone 4 then over a 32GB 5.

If your trying to locate one, get on at about 9:50pm, get your info in, expand the search area to about 50 miles and start searching. Only drove about 35 miles for this one but would have went about 100.

10PM local time. You literally have to be online refreshing the availability at 10:00:01 or else you are not going to get one though.

I think I saw the supplies update around 9:57/9:58 local time. I wasn't concentrating on the clock at that point. Was getting my fingers moving fast to snag one of them.

Someone walked in asking about them while I was there this morning. They were out of stock again.
