It's happening with that off too. And yes oval shaped. 6 bulbs

I'm sure they'll be able to help you out! for the wifi issue, did you try adjusting the http proxy to "auto" ?

So you're suggesting the camera picked up the reflection of the bulbs in the chandelier and "threw" it into the pic somehow?

the back of my 4s and the top and bottom of the i5 are glass, and reflect light. I often take advantage of this phenomena and blind people when the opportunity presents itself.

It certainly fits the bill, apart for the whole 'happens when its off also' problem. that kinda blows my idea out of the water

I'm curious... does it only happen in that room with that shot? What about other locations in the house/outside... it appears to be a reflection of some kind, but dang if I can place it.

Didn't work. Only thing that worked was reset network settings. But im not doing to do that every 3-4 days.

sorry to hear it didnt work for you, at least it was worth a shot. I guess you'll still be stopping into Apple soon about it because i agree, you can't keep resetting your settings every 3-4 days-that will def become a PITA, to say the least!

Definitely the chandelier. I get that when I FaceTime on my Mac when the light is on in the room directly behind where I sit. You can't aim a camera at a light source.

They arn't going to be able to do anything a light refraction symptom that all iPhone 5's (and possibly iPhone's period) have. You could swap it out 100 times and still experience the same.

Sean, i believe he's going because of the wifi issue he's still having. The http proxy set to auto didn't work for him. (see his above post^^^)
