I almost lost my computer tonight. I had used the lightning USB connector to sync my computer (iTunes) with my iPhone 5 and when I went to pull the USB cable out, it wouldn't budge. It was in there really solid! It took me quite a while to get it out, only after damaging the actual connector. For anyone who gets stuck with this same problem, I ended up getting it out by wiggling the USB portion of the cable very hard left and right (as another poster on apple's forum described - apparently there are a large number of people having this same issue).
