On my iP4s I had 15 songs from my music file on ringtones. They all worked great.
As you can see on the embedded photo, these 15 songs show on my iTunes page under Tones.
When I click to bring all checked on to my iP5 and click sync the 15 songs do not come to my iP5. All the other ringtones I clicked did come to my iP5.
Can anyone help or tell me why music ringtones do not sync?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1348587863.742631.jpg

Additional info that might help someone give me a clue to get the 15 ringtones from my music file to sync to my iP5.

When I click on a standard ringtone in my iTune file the sound plays.
When I click on any of the 15 music ringtones-no sound and this message appears:

If I right click on any of the 15 and request info on them I see the following:ImageUploadedByTapatalk1348612997.855105.jpg

Can anyone now give me a suggestion on what to do that will sync these 15 to my iP5?

I'm definitely having a similar problem. While I'm not getting any errors, I'm not seeing any ringtones under "tones" in my device. Furthermore, I did, at one point, see one of the ringtones on my phone but it was nowhere to be found under "sounds" on the iP5.

More info:
1) deleted 15 music ringtones off iTunes
2) went through steps to establish a ringtone from music
3) changed format from .m4a to .m4r
4) after step 3 info changed to "ringtone"
5) went to iTunes and clicked on "Tones
6) the music I changed (Melody of Love) was shown in "Tones". See embedded photos.

As you can see they exist, checked off to sync, in the correct format.
BUT- when synced, it did not upload to my iP5??????
Someone help us, Please!

UPDATE-

Added another music ringtone (So Rare) this morning. saw it in my "Tone" section of iTunes. Checked off what I wanted and clicked on "SYNC"
So Rare and Melody Of Love uploaded with all the other standard Ringtones.
The two songs were included in my "Sound" section on my iPhone5. A HAPPY Camper.
About burned all of my 73 year old brain cells on getting this to work. Keeps me young.
