New to the iPhone...Earpiece Volume?

On my blackberry the earpiece volume was extremely loud at the highest setting. On the iPhone, it's just not as loud for me when I turn it all the way up. Is there any way to alter this?

Mine's plenty loud. What kind of earpiece are you using?
<edit: I'm using Shure earphones. I can't use the Apple ones, they fall out of my ears.>

Sorry, my mistake. I just mean the standard earpiece in the iPhone when you hold the phone up to your ear. It's not abormally low or anything, I can hear it just fine. I would just like it louder, I'm used to really loud noises lol

You're not in the EU are you? I believe they have legislated restrictions on how loud it can go.

For me though, I practically never actually hold the phone up to my head. I've got the microphone cable for my Shure headphones and use it with that.
