    Default Black bars on photos?

    I understand the black bars on the old ones but why the heck am i seeing them when I click a new one? Can i get rid of them?

    Can't say for sure w/out measuring, but if you open the new camera app you'll see that the bottom bar where the shutter release is located has been made much largerso despite the bigger screen the actual photo size may not have increased that much.

    It's because the aspect ratio of the photos haven't changed. The aspect ratio for photos is ~3:2.

    ahh darn, i was hoping the aspect ratio changed since most laptop and monitors are 16:9.

    Wouldn't matter if most monitors are 16:9, ~3:2 is the standard aspect ratio of all digital cameras.
