When I take a photo with my iPhone 5 it flashes but the picture comes out black.
What could be the problem?

I had a problem with the camera earlier too. When I took photo, the camera app froze and it didn't save a picture. I was starting to think my phone camera was faulty. However, I restarted and all was well again.

Anyway, try restarting...
