The News Stand is Apple's answer to Samsung's worst piece of bloatware that can't be deleted. It may even be WORSE because you can't even tuck into a folder to hide it. :/

I was hoping for the black background, I have the empty news stand And I think there is actually a way to move it without a jailbreak but that was a while ago I read it so may not be possible anymore ... I might be misunderstanding the question here but you want the black backdrop that I used for the wallpaper for my home screen, right?

If so, I posted it in my previous message above (check the attachments; it should have went through; I did it from my iPhone and don't have access to a desktop).

FYI: I got that background back when I was still using the 4, so it's old and I don't have the original anymore BUT all I did was literally Google "black background" and you get a bunch of black backdrops. Nothing more special than that.

You can go here to make your Newsstand and other stock app icons disappear without having to jailbreak.
