Default Any alternatives to Apple's Adapter?

Has any one else announced a cheaper and/or better (with ipod controls) adapter for the new connector on the iP5?

There's several companies on E-Bay selling it, but I would hold off a week or two before even looking at 3'rd party solutions. I don't know I would trust them before the actual phones were out for them to be tested with... You still lose out if you go cheap and it doesn't work.

Someone tore down the cable and there's some sort of verification chip inside. Highly unlikely that 3rd parties have this yet.
