What excuse are you using tomorrow to stay home from work and take delivery of your precious???

I worked a compressed week ending today. With my hour commute it made for long days but no way was I missing it. Then again, I'll be that guy who doesn't get my phone until 2:59.

I work in an office so I'm having my phone shipped to me there. Last year my iPhone 4S was delivered by 10am on release day. If the same happens this year....26 hours till it's in my hands!

(Laughing)...No, they are not crazy and yes, they can wait, but they don't have to and that's the beauty of it. They want their new toy and are excited about it and many of them will take off to wait for its arrival. There is nothing wrong with that!

If you're having it delivered to your house and you are single or no one will be home, you can't wait. FedEx required a signature for me and I doubt my horse could have signed for me.

I took off work last year to wait on mine. It finally arrived at 6PM. After I took off for nothing.

Nah -- you can pre-sign for the shipment and leave the form at your door. But there is no way I'm staying at work once my iPhone is sitting at my front door... glad I have some flexibility with my work! My delivery says by 10:30am too... maybe I'll just move REALLY slow in the morning and just not make it in until it arrives

Currently working night shifts and don't have to be at work until 7pm so I'm hoping for an early delivery so I have a lot of time to play with it.

...shipped to my office like last year with the 4S...was delivered by UPS around 10AM...I expect same results this year...BTW...I'm the BOSS...so I can do whatever I want here

Mine should be at the AT&T store available for me to pick up at 8 am when they open. However my company is having a lunch picnic thing, so I am going to be participating in that and then after going to get it on my "lunch". I told the boys on my team (I'm the only girl and in charge) that they were SOL the rest of the day.

They all just laughed and said ok. I think they are excited for me to get my new phone as they are all android users and I deal with their excitement every other week.
