    Default Activation concerns?

So I'm still on a 3GS and I have a shinny iPhone 5 coming. I heard that there were a lot of problems with activations on release day with the 4S. Think that is going to happen again Friday?

    I sure hope not!
This will be my first time activating a Verizon phone on my own, so it is a bit of a worry for me as well.

Well, let's hope last year's troubles were not due only to the sheer number of phones that had to be activated simultaneously... because they're easily looking at twice that number this year...
Are you John Wayne? Is this me?

Agree with this notion. Therefore I'm EXPECTING issues so that I won't be disappointed when they arise.

Im activating two new iphones and moving numbers from Tmo to Verizon. I think there is a zero percent chance that goes smoothly tomorrow.

I wouldn't be surprised at delays with the number of phones activating. Make sure you don't need your cell phone for anything critical on Friday when you activate. Say, if you're waiting for that call from that major account that will make or break your job for example.

I don't think there will be an issues activating iPhones. At worst you may have to wait few hours.
