What time do you start lining up?

This will be my first time lining up for a release. There are 2 Apple stores near me (SLC) and Best Buy's, VZW, etc. What is everyone's previous experiences?

They're already in line at an Apple store in New York...

I have found that you can usually line up at midnight, though the night before is more of a sure thing. I have a friend who picked up a 4s last year and only showed up at 6am. My guess is that this release will me much bigger and lines will be much longer than last year.

Last year for the release of the 4s, people here were lining up outside the WSP stores and the Apple stores about a week before the launch.
