Which site should I use?

So I normally pay outright for the new iPhone but this year I have an upgrade available. My question is this: if i'm going to pre-order (i am) do i need to do so via Apples website or Verizon website? This sounds kind of dumb in my mind, but I'm honestly not sure. What I'm saying is I have a Verizon account with three lines and one is eligible for upgrade, i just want to know where to pre-order it.

Well Verizon would probably have that option up for pre-order. ( 1st choice )
if not it will be apple store. ( 2nd choice )
Well that's how it worked at least in my country ^^

I would use Apple first as they will be able to qualify you for your upgrade just as easily as Verizon would. Really it doesn't matter. I know that I am going to use apple.
