I am just wondering how some of you feel Siri may perform on the iPhone 5? Do you believe it will be substantially better that we we are experiencing with the iPhone 4S? Do you believe it will be much more useful?

Siri really depends more on the iOS version than the phone... yes, there has to be a minimum hardware level for Siri... but the real activity is software, and backend servers, and iOS... iOS6 will bring with it a lot of enhancements. details what's to come.

Thanks much, KCH. I will be making the switch from BB (I know, I am one of the last...) and am hoping that Siri will be quite useful.

Siri should be the same on either 4S or new iPhone. Yes it will be better than it currently is on iOS 5.1.1 as 6.0 really adds a lot of new features to Siri.

Siri will be better on iOS 6. Wether it be on I4S or I5. The improvement will be software based not hardware based.

We don't know that yet. The iPhone 5 killer app might just be tied to a Siri functionality that hasn't been shown yet. Oh that would really suck. lol

But that isn't Siri, thats the new feature.

Siri should be the same across all devices because its an OS feature not a hardware one.

If that were completely true we'd have Siri on the iPhone 4.

Guess that's just Apple for ya.
