A run of smear is about the only way I can describe it. Looks like a reflection, but it doesn't move and is not a reflection. Top right corner. Cant see it with a soild black background. White shows it good.

I love the device and can live with the defects a few weeks until stock gets in, but was sad to see it defected out of the box. Anyone else seen this before?

I've seen that before, but not on an Iphone. From the pictures, it appears that maybe too much weight was shifted on the corner? Possibly during shipment? Hopefully whoever you bought it from doesn't try to pin the blame on you.

If you can, just take it to an Apple store tomorrow. The lines will be gone and people will instead be calling to see they have any in stock. Show them and they should swap it out regardless of where you bought it from. Just gotta hope they get some in stock soon. They'll probably get your info and notify you when you can come pick up the new device.

I am on a verizon business account. We have 30 days to swap. I called my rep and left a message. I can wait a few weeks, no biggie. In fact, it's kind of nice being able to test a phone out that i know i wont be keeping. now i can see how easily it scratches. lol

Take it to an Apple store. Don't know if they'll replace at Verizon (although I assume so). Definitely damaged. Closest I can think of is the yellow splotches in the past, but this doesn't look like that.
