As my battery got dead, i got it replaced by a local shop. i charged it to 100 and the battery life app showed 1300 charge cycles already had been done and around 12% capacity is lost i.e around maximum of 1270 mah out of 1430 mah it can hold. So is it possible that the shopkeeper kept a used battery in my iPhone?
But he charged pretty less for the replacement.

Was the repair at a apple store or an "authorized reseller"? if not it could be a used battery that was put into your iphone. i suggest you downloading the "coconut battery" app for our computer and check the battery cycles, the current app your using to check the battery could of had a glitch.
