With Androids I generally get some idea of the battery performance from the screen-on time. The only way of doing that on an iPhone so far as I know is to add up the times of on-screen-usage for each app in Battery Usage. I got about 140min SOT from my 4s today, with the battery down to 21% from 100%, using Auto brightness, and most of the time on good mobile signal, with a short time on good wifi.
The findings of other members will be welcome. :)

Next use of phone : 114min SOT, down to 22%, similar use as above. I was unable to give Usage and Standby above because of soft resetting after starting, to get mobile data to connect, but this time, 3h 34m and 8h 51m respectively.
Device about a year old, battery cared for. Sensible battery-saving settings set.
