Before 9.0.2 my iPhone 4s showed the time when I touched it, how can I get it to do this again?

before 9.0.2 my iphone 4s showed the time when I touched it

If i touched my iphone during the night - the screen immediately displayed the time - without unlockiing it - since 9.0.2 upgrade the time is no longer displayed. Any idea how I can get that back? I searched all the settings and don't see anything about it. I don't want the music slider either - but really want the time to display for me. Help - anyone.

Just reboot your iPhone. Afterwards, press the home button to see the time on the lock screen.
