New to IOS. Charging port burning smell

Hello everyone, I was using blackberry Z10 and I sold it off and purchased new iPhone 4S 2 days back. Problem is, burning smell is coming from the charging port at the bottom of my phone(it's coming even after I removed the charger) I checked the device, it's original. Running 8.4 OS. I'm lil scared, about this issue. Please give me suggestions. Is this normal or should I do something to avoid this? I'm new to IOS. I'm from India. Thanks in advance.

Take the device to the nearest Apple Store to have one of the geniuses diagnose the problem for you.
