Iphone 4s, black scree, beeping :(

Hi all, today i tried to replace a mates ip4s screen. first time round i managed to get it half working but screen was purpleish and noticed home button wasent set properly so i tore it down to rebuild and go again.

Well now i have just a black screen but its recognised in itunes and its beeping every few seconds? Any idea how i can resolve this ? Many thanks in advance

Generally beeping is usually diagnostic and it means something. Have you tried detecting a beeping pattern and then googling that pattern and seeing what it means?

did you not properly connect a ribbon somewhere?

Take it apart and put it back together, but if that doesn't work, maybe take it to an Apple Store

If you are not getting hang of it, take it to a local repair shop and they will fix it for you.
