Battery life and the 4s

Having owned this phone since release date and hanging on until there is an iPhone 6 I'm just wondering what kind of battery life oi guys are getting, comparatively, to yourselves.

I'm wondering how much my battery is deteriorating due to age or is it iOS 7 which is just more demanding on the battery than the previous iOS were.

How long is your battery lasting before you need to charge it?

Under normal conditions I can go an entire day without needing to recharge. Now at work where the cell phone signal is very weak that's a different story.

I don't know how long it lasts to be honest because I have been in the habit of putting it on the charger a lot.

Yesterday morning I was texting a lot and I probably blew about 20% per hour. That's about 1 message in/out per minute so that just seems like a large drain. That was text not iMessage.

If your signal is weak it will drain your battery extremely bad. How are your settings (location, BT, push notifications, background refresh)...?
