How to make a reminder with sound

Does anyone know how to make a reminder that makes a sound...for ex if someone needed to take medicine daily at the same time how can you make that reminder with a sound that goes off at that time so you know its time take their meds...Thanks for any info

First, set the reminder:

1. Tap on the Reminder app
2.Click the + button
3. Type in the reminder. for example: Take medicine.
4. Click the arrow to the right of the entry you just made
5. Turn ON "Remind Me On a Day"
6. Tap on the date listed and make the necessary changes
7. Tap on "Repeat" and then make the necessary changes
8. Select "Done" in the upper right corner

Now go to Settings-Notification-Reminders and then tap on "Reminder Alerts" and then select the alert tone you want to use.

I have alarms set to remind me of my daily meds, as well as the one to wake me up on weekdays for work.
