Safari bug

Today I recorded a really curious behavior of a website.

On an iPhone with SAFARI browser this website begins to shrink after 30 sec. The problem does not occur on an iPad with SAFARI or on iPhone when using Google Chrome. So it's a problem limited to SAFARI on an iPhone.

Does anybody have an idea what the reason could be?

I have seen that on ebays site took forever but eBay finally fixed it

Sorry for the late reply.
Never seen that before.
Up to now I thought that the engines for rendering websites on iPhone and iPad are identical. But this seems not the case.
