Multiple iPhone Users
I have a situation where I need to share an iPhone 4s or 5 across several users. Is there a way to have several different login profiles on a single iPhone? If not, is there an app that would allow each user to select their own Exchange profile independent from the other users?

Re: Multiple iPhone Users
It simply cannot be done in iOS. A phone was not meant for multiple users - it's not a replacement for a computer.

Multiple iPhone Users
Is it the same email domain, or different? For example... If user A has yahoo: use the yahoo app. User B has gmail: use the gmail app... Etc.
I could see how this would work on an iPad, but on an iPhone it seems too personal a device for more than 1 user.No one cares what phones/computers/tablets you are using, or in which order you got them.... so stop listing. - 01-15-2013, 05:50 AM #6

This cannot be done in this version of iOS. But I suspect it will be possible in a future release of iOS.
While you are right, at least in my point of view, that a phone is a personal device, a tablet surely is not.
There are countless ipads being used by different family members at home. That would be the #1 reason to implement different user profiles. - 01-15-2013, 06:06 AM #7
Re: Multiple iPhone Users
Right now, the Nexus 7 is the only tablet that has implemented multiple user logins. It's making it difficult for developers. (What a surprise!)
Tablets are not replacements for desktops. - 01-15-2013, 06:14 AM #8
Re: Multiple iPhone Users
There's a TV commercial for Barnes & Nobles Nook that shows multiple family members sharing a single Nook with multiple login capabilities. Whether or not the Nook can be considered a true "tablet" is another question, but the multiple login implementation is being promoted by another company.

Re: Multiple iPhone Users
So true. So it can be done on two Android tablets. We'll see if it shows up on more. Personally, I don't want to share my iPad, so it's a moot issue.
