Youtube Problems

My wife is having problems with youtube video app. When playing some video's she has to keep hitting the play button to keep the video going. Some video it doesn't happen at all. length, subject and format of video doesn't seem to be an issue. I have uninstalled and re installed app and still the same problem. I am new to IOS so looking for any advice on have to fix this or see if anyone else is having the same problem. She has OS6 on her 4S.
