Sim Swap

hello guys, my friend recently bought an unlocked 4s, as soon as she got it she inserted her current sim card, and it worked great, a few days later she made a sim swap for another number she had, that she plans on keeping on the iphone, my question would be how to activate facetime and imessage with that number, because after the swap they both do not work, Ive thought about resetting her phone, but would like to know if theres an easier way to go about this issue, thanks in advance.

so she changed her phone number too right? she can go into message settings and update her imessage contact info (email/phone number).

I've swapped SIMs before. (That sounded a bit dirty...) Just update your settings. You can use a number, an email addy, or both. I use FaceTime and iMessage on my iPad and it doesn't even have cellular data, let alone a phone number.
