does ios support themes and wallpaper? one thing i enjoy with my phone is getting the astronomy pic of the day automatically being set as my wallpaper daily. is that something ios supports? i haven't had a chance to play with an iphone so i don't know if it even supports wallpapers. thanks.

You can certainly set a wallpaper. Themes come with jailbraking and installing Winterboard (the theming platform) and your theme of choice. As for automatically setting a wallpaper, that I have no experience with, sorry.

when you jailbreak, does that mean you void warranty? so if something happens you can't bring it back to be fixed? that's not like rooting is it?

If you bring it in jailbroken, no they won't help you. That's why you should restore it through iTunes first. Then ts like it never even happened.
