My iPhone 4s running 5.1.1 froze while i tried to unlock it, so i held down the power and home button till it turned off and the boot screen with the apple logo showed up. It hasnt opened up the lockscreen or homescreen, it just shows the apple logo against the black for the past 10 mins. How do i fix this???

Put the iPhone in Recovery Mode and restore your iPhone. Hope you backed up your stuff!
