    Default Asurion 4s replacement

Has anyone gotten an insurance claim for a 4S recently? Was it new or refurbished? Sorry if this isn't in the right forum, mods please feel free to move if necessary.

As a rule of thumb, with Asurion, just expect a refurb from square one... and if you get a new one, rejoice.

I've only received brand new iPhone devices from Asurion. In fact, I don't think I've ever received a device that wasn't new from Asurion.

But every Sprint device that comes to my store to be activated, except 1, have all been "Certified Pre-owned".

I want the Asurion you have, then.

Being on Verizon, I've had nothing but "Certified Pre-Owned" for replacements. Never had a brand new one unless I personally walked into the store and *****ed at them. Lol.
