First, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this - please feel free to move it if needed!

I have an iPhone 4S and a BlackBerry VM-605 Bluetooth Speakerphone - I changed from a BB Bold to the iPhone. Answering incoming calls is no problem. My question - how do you initiate voice dialing? I could with the BB with no problems - but, of course RIM doesn't document how to do this with non-RIM hardware!

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

Brian

On the 4S you should be able to push & hold the call button on the bluetooth device until Siri kicks in and go from there.

I was looking to do it without needing to handle the phone - in Ontario it's against the law to use a handheld device - but Bluetooth ones (ear pieces & speakerphones) are still okay.

You use the call button on the bluetooth device... not the phone... the same button you use to answer calls on the bluetooth... push and hold that until Siri wakes up, and you can do anything Siri will do - dial, call from address book, whatever...
