    Default Will this work?

    I had an idea...

    1. sign a two year contract for an Iphone 4s. (forced to pay 30/mo for 3gb of data on ATT)

    2. Buy an Iphone 2g and activate it on the account that just was renewed. (Get unlimited data on the line via Itunes)

    3. Place sim in recently purchased Iphone 4s.

    Will i keep unlimited data?

    Thanks in advance.

Unless I misread your post, you have 2 contracts with AT&T. One with an unlimited plan and the other with a 3GB data plan. If that's true then even if you swap SIM cards, you will still have to pay for both plans. Technically, if you switch out the SIM cards, the 4S will be registered as the device with the unlimited data plan, but *PLEASE VERIFY THAT WITH AT&T* or via someone who works for or have worked for the carrier.

I think they got rid of that loophole when they did away with 2G support. I did that in the past but I'm pretty sure there are no 2G options anymore.
