My devices really aren't liking my WiFi connection.

I upgraded my iPhone the other day and it came with 5.0.1 and it was fine with connecting, but then I updated to 5.1.1 and now it's has bugged up.

Theproblem is the devices don't seem to be able to see my WiFi for long periods, they take ages to find the WiFi signal, and when they do, they never connect first time, and only stay connected for a short period of time.

I've tried rebooting the router, changing security and passwords to no avail, and yet it works fine on non-apple devices.

Router is a NETGEAR.

Any advice? As I cannot afford to swap any devices as this point in time.

How fast do your i-devices detect and connect to your Wi-Fi network when open? In other words, with no security enabled? If it detects and connects speedily then I would recommend you use a single band only, for example: G-only instead B,G & N.

I'll have to give it a try, both my devices are having the problem so it must be my router, or I have very unlucky devices. Even after a fresh DFU restore.
