Hi,

I am using iP4S 16GB Factory Unlocked on 5.0.1 Build 9A405.

Have recently observed that when ever I am switching on my device, it takes about a minute to get the network signals; till then it keeps 'Searching' unlike my iP3GS.

Any clues what the issue could be & its resolution?

I am using an factory unlocked 4S and I believe this is normal. I doesn't take more than a few seconds after it is booted up to say AT&T or T-Mobile, though.

Thanks Irish Rose for your reply.

I am on Vodafone & for me its not in seconds but surely near a minute to get onto the network.

I hope the latest iOS 5.0.1 Build 9A406 is not about this concern as well?

I am on o2 in the UK and have also noticed that it takes MUCH longer to acquire the mobile (3G) and home WiFi signals in my iP4s compared to my iP4 when the iP4s is turned on from cold. Both on iOS 5.01.

I thought it was just me!

Not a big deal, but definitely noticeable.

And I thought I was having an issue with my device. ;)

Thanks Wallace for your update; though I hv'nt checked it for WiFi Signals, will check & update.

Another issue what am facing is that when you switch On & Off from Cellular Data; at times data connectivity is not established.

You have to do an On & Off with the Airplane Mode and it gets data services start working again.

One more thing. It could be related to 3G. My iP4 has 3G turned off, I cannot do that on the iP4s currently.
