Depends on where I am. At home, 7 mb down and 2 up is pretty usual. At work, which is downtown in a major city, where service should be great, speeds are crap, .5 down (yes, that is .5 as in half of 1) if I'm lucky. Same for up. AT&T. On WiFi at home, of course, I get my full land speed, 20 down, 4 up.

It varies depending on what part of the city I'm in. Some places are 4-5 Mbps down, 1-2 up. Others are 1-2Mpbs down, 0.5-1 up. Unfortunately, I'm usually in the "others" areas. I have yet to see the high end speeds that AT&T touts as their 4G, so either they haven't rolled it out to our area, or they just have less than adequate coverage/backhaul.
