I confess, I had a little tear in my eye when I powered down the BB, but I am now sporting a shiny new 64gb 4S up and running on the Rogers network.

When I take it home and connect it to my desktop, can I "restore" to this new iphone from my older Touch?

I'm curious. Why would you restore? Wouldn't it be better to just log into iTunes and sync?

I just thought it would be easier to plug it into iTunes at home and then basically load it up with everything I had on my Touch (and then sell my Touch).
But instead, I set it up as a new device and just re-sync'd music, apps, etc.
Thanx

Depending on the touch, your Facetime wouldn't work properly. Depending on which email you used. It happened to me, I tried it once because I had tons of pics and apps galore. So I thought it would be fine, but my Facetime switch would be off, I tried switching it and it would just stay on off. I freaked, restored as new. Never looked back.
