white iphone 4s shows up as black iphone on itunes

An iPhone 4s is an iPhone 4s.

Maybe the phone started its life as a black one and someone has changed the front and back cover to white.

Obviously if you have owned the phone from new this will not be the case!

Under model, mine shows MD269LL. That translates into a black AT&T 64 gig 4S. An MD271LL indicates a white 64 gig AT&T 4S. Model MD277LL/A indicates a white Verizon 16 gig 4S. So....what does your say?

I ask because if the OP's iTunes shows a different color iPhone than what they have, what does the model indicate when going into settings, general, about? That's the real factor.

Mine only does this sometimes. Maybe it's another bug in 5.0.1
