How can I place setting icons on my home screen

I want to place icons on my home screen for things like "airplane mode", "wi-fi", and "bluetooth" on my home screen so I can switch them on and off without opening settings, then selecting them or digging down another layer to the item before turning them on or off.

Is there some way I haven't found to place the icons on my home screen or is there an app that someone knows of that will allow me do place the icons on my home screen?

Since Cleveland is hunting for the link, I'll share a rumor I heard/read...

Apparently in iOS 5.1.x they are doing away with these 3rd party shortcuts/links. If having this feature is important, you may want to hold off on upgrading (whenever the new OS is available)...

You could also try "Anicons" in Cydia!
