    Default keypad sounds

I can't turn the Phone keypad sounds off, I went into sounds and turned off keypad clicks to no avail.

    Default Keypadclicks

I noticed you have had no replys to your question and being somewhat new myself I know this can be frustrating.

I tested my iPhone4S and turned ON and OFF the clicks on my keypad. When I turned it OFF my keyboard was silent. Turned keypad to ON and the clicking worked fine.

Try again, and if it does not work as designed take your phone back where you purchased it. If it is defective they will replace it.

I came over from Blackberry (4 year user), and I love my iPhone4S. Welcome aboard.

Only way I know to do it is via a cydia hack if you are Jailbroken.

Try a full reset. That fixed the problem on my iPad gen 1.

Are you talking about the touch tones, when you dial a number?

If so, as someone already stated, you can't turn them off.

You can use the mute bar on the side of the phone to turn all the sounds off. It turns the keyboard clicks off as well as the tones when you dial a number. Granted, it turns all your sounds off, but in a pinch, it works.
