I just got a 16GB iPhone 4S, coming from a 32GB iPhone 4. I also wound up switching from Verizon to AT&T, unfortunately losing my unlimited data in the process, but VZW has become a joke where I live.
I'm a subscriber to MOG, which is an on demand music service similar to Rhapsody. The app has a caching feature which allows me to download music when Im at home and listen to it later, keeping me far away from my data cap, at least in theory.
The problem here is since i went from a 32 to a 16 gig, I operate a lot closer to the maximum of memory on the device. I never fill it though. However, my iPhone seems to be deciding its smarter than me, and deleting my entire MOG music library when I go anywhere near the device capacity, but nowhere near filling it.
Is there any way to turn this off, or am I gonna have to start calling around and seeing if anywhere has a 32GB 4S and pay the extra, even though I'll never come close to filling it?
